​I partner with CEOs and Executive Leadership Teams to align people strategy with business goals, unlocking potential, accelerating performance, and driving meaningful growth. By bridging the gap between people strategy and the boardroom, I help to demonstrate the real, measurable impact of talent on business valuation and long-term success.

My experience spans well-known brands such as Virgin and River Island, global corporations such as Roche (a £52bn revenue pharmaceutical business), and private equity-backed organisations, including my most recent role at Reward Gateway, a £200m revenue business.

 

Over the course of my career, I’ve navigated multiple mergers, acquisitions, and high-value business transformations. Most recently, I played a key role in Reward Gateway’s $1.45bn USD acquisition, partnering closely with the exiting private equity owners and the C-suite to manage a fast-paced, high-impact transaction.

In a fractional capacity I provide strategic HR expertise to high-growth series C upwards organisations who are scaling rapidly and working towards funding rounds, acquisitions or exit.

Businesses on a growth journey need more than just day-to-day HR support, they need a people strategy that truly enables their scaling ambitions. While smaller organisations generally have operational HR in place to manage daily needs, there’s often a gap between this and the strategic input that an experienced Chief People Officer can bring.

By partnering with the in-house HR function and the leadership team, I help bridge the gap between operational and strategic HR. Together, we lay the groundwork for sustainable growth, ensuring the business is not only equipped to scale, but also prepared for key milestones like investment or exit.

With a career grounded in curiosity, adaptability, and forward-thinking leadership, I’m driven by innovation that doesn’t just keep pace with change, but leads it. My passion is creating people first strategies that not only attract and grow talent but turns it into a true competitive advantage. As a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and Fellow of the Learning & Performance Institute, I’m relentless in my mission to connect the dots between powerful people initiatives and tangible business outcomes. 

 

I believe in learning through sharing. I regularly contribute to the HR community, whether it’s through speaking engagements, published insights, podcasts, or webinars. I’m energised by connecting with others, exchanging ideas, and pushing boundaries together.

 

I serve as a Non Executive Director for Macmillan Cancer Support, advising the People Committee, and am an Advisory Board Member for various HR communities, where I help bring HR professionals together to collaborate, challenge, and grow. With over 20 years in HR, I’ve worked across industries including; travel, retail, pharma, education, and tech, gaining a real world understanding of what makes organisations (and their people) thrive.

 

From an early career in Learning & Development, I have successfully progressed into the role of Chief People Officer. Throughout, I have learned that where I add the most business value is by shaping organisational culture to deliver business success, and this the case no matter the sector, industry or organisation size.
